Not for you I hear you say … an exercise regime needn’t take more than just a few minutes per day. If you’re out of your routine and are looking for a gentle reintroduction to keeping fit, try this:-
- Use The Stairs – warm up by stepping on and off the bottom step for one minute, changing lead leg half way through. Then for 20 seconds go as fast as you can up and down the stairs, resting for 10 seconds afterwards. Try completing 8 sets of this exercise and see what the results are.
I’ve decided to give this a go because (i) it’s inexpensive and (ii) saves me having to go outdoors which I’m not always ready for!
